Definition and Usage:

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is pale blue in color; It is a colorless compound when diluted. The viscosity value of hydrogen peroxide is higher than that of water.

Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula H2O2. In its pure form, the liquid with an odor is slightly more viscous than water. Hydrogen peroxide is simple peroxide (a compound with an oxygen-oxygen single bond). It is used as an oxidizer, bleaching agent and disinfectant. Concentrated hydrogen peroxide, or "high test peroxide", is a reactive oxygen species and has been used as a propellant for rockets.[4]The chemistry is dominated by the unstable nature of the peroxide bond.

Hydrogen peroxide is unstable and decomposes slowly in the presence of a base or a catalyst. Because of its instability, hydrogen peroxide is typically stored with a stabilizer in a weakly acidic solution. Hydrogen peroxide is found in biological systems, including the human body. Enzymes that use or degrade hydrogen peroxide are classified as peroxidases.

The boiling point of H2O2 was extrapolated to 150.2 °C, which is about 50 °C higher than water. In practice, hydrogen peroxide undergoes potentially explosive thermal decomposition when heated to this temperature. It can be safely distilled at low temperatures under reduced pressure.

Usage areas

Hydrogen Peroxide is a powerful, environmentally friendly oxidizing agent used in the bleaching, sterilization and chemical industries. It is a non-toxic, easily available and widely used liquid that can be destroyed without leaving any residue. Hydrogen Peroxide is produced at high quality standards in our facility in Bandırma in various degrees of purity.
This industry, which uses the most Hydrogen peroxide in the world, is forced by public pressure and laws to not use chlorine in bleaching processes. It is as effective as other supported KRAFT bleaching chemicals, especially in mechanical bleaching, recycled and wood-free fibers.
Hydrogen Peroxide is the preferred agent in natural cellulose and organic fibers. It is a substance that is beneficial for cotton, wool and silk, provides high bleaching and low fiber damage, but has minimal waste problems.
Today, it is used in aseptic packaging, food whitening and preservation, microbial control, hair products and pharmaceutical industry.
In swimming pool cleaning, shocking chemicals, deodorization and waste spillage are also useful in rivers and lagoons as an emergency measure. In many water applications, oxidation technologies developed with Ultraviolet radiation, ozone or metal catalysts are beneficial when used in combination with Hydrogen Peroxide. This form is strong hydroxyl radicals that degrade the taste and pungent odor of drinking water, remove colored dyes and a wide variety of organic impurities in textile wastes.
Hydrogen Peroxide is a strong oxidizing agent. In stabilized hydrogen peroxide, active oxygen is released very slowly. However, the release of active oxygen is very rapid when mixed with metal, organic or alkali. Due to this feature, it requires special precautions for safe shipping. In addition, users should be familiar with these precautions or Hydrogen Peroxide A.Ş. should be able to take the measures offered by
